The principals of DCT both got into digital ceramics by purchasing systems from a competitor long before meeting, Neither purchase lived up to expectations either in quality, ease of use or support after the sale. One of the systems would not initialize after the first month and has not been able to be used since. The other was ultimately only successful after being converted to the Baltea DC system. In both cases we received little help from the company we had paid in excess of $35,000 to. Before approaching Baltea DC and become a partner of theirs, we discussed at length how we would be different from our competition. 1) We will setup and train you on your equipment at your location. It costs the same for us to travel to you as it does for you to come to us. This training will be intensive, not just a quick summary of the system. Over two days we will show you how to print and apply decals, and then watch you do it. Our training with the competitors system consisted of them making one 4 x 4 tile while we mostly watched. We will show you shortcuts and how to solve common problems. This helps to ensure that you will be successful. 2) We will offer world class support. You don't only have problems between 8 and 5 Monday through Friday, so those aren't the only hours we are available for help. After hours our main phone rolls over to mobile phones, so you can get help when you need it. 3) We will stock the consumables you need in our warehouse in the US. No need pay to wire transfer payment and wait for your toner to be shipped from overseas while paying outrageously inflated shipping prices. 4) We will sell fairly priced systems and consumables because our long term success is based on you being successful and profitable. |
